“BAZARA 0 Fight Club IV” was another fantastic event which showcased plenty of Latvian talent in several combat disciplines. The production value was incredible, with amazing fighter entrances and a great crowd. The card was exciting, and the main event was an absolute bloodbath. Here’s a look at every fight from the event, and the results of all the fantastic fights!

B0 MMA FIGHT: RICARDS HAUBERTS VS. RAIMONDS ZEPS
The first round starts with Raimonds Zeps putting on the pressure, but Ricards Hauberts avoided any big strikes. He landed a takedown and went off with solid ground and pound. He was able to get the back quickly and hunted for the rear-naked choke. He landed some good strikes from the back, was able to find the rear-naked choke again, and locked up the submission for the win.
Result: Hauberts via first-round submission
B0 MMA FIGHT: EDGARS SKRIVERS VS. JESUS LOPEZ
Jesus Lopez started with a solid kicking game, but Edgars Skrivers caught a body kick and got him down. After the referee stood them up, he slowed down on the kicks, but Skrivers had some good leg kicks of his own. He followed that up with some good punches and kicks and kept Lopez at bay. He was able to land a massive shot to get the fight to the ground and finish the fight with less than a minute left via ground and pound.

B0 MMA FIGHT: ARTURS SKABARNIEKS VS. LUIS HENRIQUE DA SILVA
Arturs Skabarnieks started the round with a flurry of strikes, but got pushed up against the fence and ate some elbows. He got off the fence and started pushing the pace again, and both fighters landed solid shots in the clinch. Both fighters continued to have good moments, with Skabarnieks landing massive hooks and stumbling Silva. It was only a matter of time before he got the finishing blow, and he landed a massive right hook to end the fight.
Result: Skabarnieks via first-round KO
B0 KICK FIGHT: MARATS JANKOVSKIS VS. NIKITA BRICIS
Both fighters came out swinging and landed big kicks. Nikita Bricis started unleashing far more and pushing the action, which could give him the round. Marats Jankovskis was being a lot more technical and working in the clinch, but it felt like Bricis did more.
Jankovskis had a much better second round, pushing the pace and taking the center of the cage. He tried some spinning strikes to do more damage, but he still did enough to win the round. This was a close fight and could go either way at the end of the second round.
The third round was much the same. Both fighters landed flush, and we saw massive strikes and flying knees to kick off the round. Bricis took a massive backseat after a strong first round, and it looked like Jankovskis was taking over the fight. This could be anyone’s fight as we end it with the judges’ scorecards.

B0 KICK FIGHT: RAIMONDS AUKSTIKALNIS VS. RUSLAN MITJAJEV
Ruslan Mitjajev has a solid height and reach advantage, but Raimonds Aukstikalnis closed the distance well from the start and landed the better shots. Mitjajev picked it up after the slow start and did solid damage as the round came to a close.
Mitjajev looked to find his range in the first round and continued where he left off. Aukstikalnis did what he could to close the distance and find his range with heavy strikes. He started to tire as the round came to a close and took a massive head kick to end the fight.

WAKO PRO KICKBOXING TITLE FIGHT: ALEKSANDRS CERKESOVS VS. JABBAR MUSTAFAYEV
Both fighters started by throwing heavy leg kicks, but the defense was on point. Both fighters started throwing heavier strikes halfway through the round, and Jabbar Mustafayev was on his back foot, avoiding the jab from Aleksandrs Cerkesovs. It felt like for every strike Mustafayev landed, Cerkesovs would come back with multiple shots. Cerkesovs looked like the clear winner of the first round.
Cerkesovs picked up where he left off, pushing the pace and keeping Mustafayev on his back foot. While both fighters continued to throw solid combinations, it was hard to land the heavy shots to find the finish. Cerkesovs landed a beautiful flurry and used knees to the head to take over the fight. Mustafayev looked tired as the second round closed, as Cerkesovs continued to win minutes.
Mustafayev was complaining to the referee about the floor, his ankle tape, and anything else he could find to stall the fight. Cerkesovs landed the better shots, and Mustafayev looked tired and slow on his feet. The referee got tired of his antics and gave Mustafayev a standing count. It looked like a clear three rounds for Cerkesovs.
Mustafayev proved his toughness as he took heavy shots from Cerkesovs from the start of the fourth round. The fatigue was definitely setting in, and Cerkesovs landed the more powerful combinations as Mustafayev fought on his back foot. Despite landing the better strikes, Mustafayev landed a massive shot and opened a big cut above Cerkesovs’ eyebrow.
The fifth round was much the same. Cerkesovs landed the better combinations while Mustafayev relied on fighting off his back foot. Mustafayev looked tired and tried to land spinning back fists and heavy leg kicks to hopefully find a finish. Cerkesovs pushed the pace and ended the fight well.

B0 FIST FIGHT: DANS BUKOVSKIS VS. LUCAS TEIJEIRA
Dans Bukovskis started on fire, landed massive shots right on the chin, and it looked like Lucas Teijeira had no answer to the early onslaught. Despite trying to find the counters, it was only a matter of time. Bukovskis continued to land the heavier shots against the fence and put Teijeira down not once, but twice, to secure the knockout win.

B0 FIST FIGHT: RICARDS OZOLS VS. JURIS ZUNDOVSKIS
Juris Zundovskis had a clear height and reach disadvantage, and did everything he could to close the distance. Ricards Ozols tried to time counter jabs on his entries, but it took both fighters time to find their range as they swung wildly. Zundovskis did a good job of trying to land a flurry and getting out of the pocket. The pace was slow, but it was obvious both fighters were looking for the home-run shot.
Ozols started to find his range at the end of the first round and picked up where he left off. He was trying to time Ozols’ entries, but as he took his time to land the better blows, Zundovskis started to find his confidence and pushed a crazy pace to fight in the pocket. He landed a massive flurry to put Ozols out on his feet, and the referee gave him a standing count. The moment the fight started again, Zundovskis ran right back into the pocket and landed another deadly combination, ending the fight completely.

B0 FIST FIGHT: KRISTAPS ZUTIS VS. KASPARS KAMBALA
These two fighters were massive in the cage compared to previous fighters, and it showed in their style. Kaspars Kambala had a massive size advantage, but that didn’t scare Kristaps Zutis from swinging for the fences. Both fighters were trying to find the finishing blow early, and it seemed like the fight wouldn’t last very long. Kambala landed a massive uppercut to drop Zutis early. Kambala’s jab was a serious problem, and he followed it up with massive hooks. While Zutis looked angry about the knockdown, he came back from the count but was finished soon after by massive blows from Kambala.

P4P KICKBOXING TITLE FIGHT: ZAURS DZAVADOVS VS. KRISTAPS ZILE
Zaurs Dzavadovs knew he had to get in the pocket quickly and tried to get inside Kristaps Zile’s range. Both fighters had solid moments to kick off the round, and their experience and skill level showed from the beginning. Zile’s combinations looked more effective, but Dzavadovs continued to put on the pressure. The first round was close, with both guys landing effectively.
Zile started the second round by landing clinch knees to the head and was able to score an early knockdown. Dzavadovs survived the count and landed some of his own hooks. The knees were the big difference halfway through the round, and Zile landed another massive knee to force Dzavadovs down. Zile tried to run in after the count, but Dzavadovs landed a massive hook of his own to put Zile down. Despite being a bloody mess, Dzavadovs scored a knockdown of his own. Before the end of the round, Zile landed another knee to put Dzavadovs down for good.

B0 FIST FIGHT: FRANCIS ROZENTALS VS. JOILTON LUTTERBACH SUB-ZERO
Rozentals, in his classic jeans look, was pushing a heavy pace and forced Joilton Lutterbach Sub-Zero against the fence. Lutterbach was weathering the storm, but after the referee separated them, Rozentals came back with a massive overhand right and put Lutterbach on the ground. After recovering, both fighters showed solid combinations and patience to land the better shots. Rozentals was clearly the more powerful fighter, and he put him down again with a massive left hand. Rozentals landed another massive shot at the end of the round for a third knockdown, and the referee said that’s enough.

B0 BARE-KNUCKLE FIGHT: DANIK YESNENOK VS. BOVAR KHANAKOV
Both fighters showed solid boxing backgrounds with solid hooks and footwork. Danik Vesnenok was taking massive shots and started bleeding from his nose early. Right after that, he started landing heavily on Bovar Khanakov, and the entire right side of his face was covered in blood. That was an action-packed first round with a close back-and-forth from both fighters.
The action continued in the second, with both fighters using their footwork to land the better shots. Khanakov was forced to clinch on several occasions, which frustrated Vesnenok. Khanakov started finding his range and landing heavy shots, but the right side of his face was completely beat up, and the same could be said for Vesnenok. Another close round, but Vesnenok seems to be landing the cleaner shots.
Both fighters showed plenty of respect to start the third round, but got right back to work. Khanakov was struggling to find any success early on, while Vesnenok used the clinch to avoid any big combinations. They were clearly tired and completely threw themselves out. It almost seemed like Vesnenok knew he won and relied heavily on the clinch to secure the victory.

“BAZARA 0 Fight Club IV” had a solid mix of fights, from MMA to bare-knuckle, with plenty of finishes throughout the card. The main event was a bloody mess, and both fighters left it all out there in a three-round war. If there’s anything to love about this card, it’s the mix of so many combat disciplines, and it’s great exposure to the combat scene in Latvia.
