Ričards Hauberts has built a reputation as an exciting up-and-comer. A former “Ghetto Fight” champion and Latvian MMA champion as of 2025, Hauberts started out claiming an under-18 title in “Ghetto Fight” during his teens; he has seen six fights and six victories under this promotion, and proudly calls himself the “Ghetto Champion”. His technical development has since been guided by Danik Vesnenok, BAZARA 0 founder himself, who mentors Hauberts directly.

Hauberts took part in the very first “BAZARA 0 Fight Club” event in August of 2024 where he coined a draw against Yaroslav Kuzoma, and made his professional debut at “BAZARA 0 Fight Club II” in May of 2025, where he fought Niks Bemberis, with their coaches Vesnenok and Roberts Skujiņš meeting in the co-main event.

Prior to joining the BAZARA 0 ranks, Hauberts had built an impressive amateur résumé. He amassed dozens of bouts in local pankration and MMA tournaments. Notably, he claimed a unanimous decision victory at a Ghetto Fight event in Ventspils in mid-2024. That win came just months after an encounter with Daigar Kasporovičius in January of 2024. In that amateur meeting, held under Ghetto Fight’s “Open Cage” rules, Hauberts ultimately lost a judges’ decision. Now, nearly two years later, Hauberts will have a chance to avenge that loss on a far bigger platform.

Daigar Kasporovičius comes into this fight with a flawless record. He is ranked among the top 20 amateur lightweights in Eastern Europe, has seen about 30 fights, and is a three-time Lithuanian grappling champion who has proven himself on the global stage by earning a 5th-place finish at a world championship event.

In March of 2024, he represented the Baltic region at an IMMAF World Championship tournament in Belgrade, Serbia. He followed that with an extraordinary run at the 2025 Open Lithuania Shooto-Bushido Championship, an amateur MMA tournament in Kaunas. Kasparovic tore through the lightweight bracket with three straight first-round submissions in one day: he dispatched one opponent via arm-triangle choke in just 2:08, then tapped another with an Americana lock in only 1:24 of the opening round, and secured an armbar in the final match.

Ričards Hauberts and Daigar Kasporovičius have fought each other in amateur circuits, so it’s not going to be their first time seizing one another — and that makes this fight all the more interesting!
