The long-awaited rematch between Latvian boxer Francis Rozentāls and Lithuanian fighter Dominykas Dirkstys is finished! This time, they hit up Jettbet Casino — and while Dirkstys managed to land some decent wins, Team Francis took home the victory and €2,500, winning a significantly larger pot and evening out the score to 1:1.
This battle was hosted by ladies most viewers recognize from Lucky Punch streams, Doloresa (aka Dolo) and Simona, both of whom have also streamed together with Francis. Their presence was not only welcomed by the viewers and Dirkstys himself, but also proved to be a huge advantage: the chat speculated that the fair gender gave Francis some extra buff. Perhaps he truly was showing off for the ladies, because he came prepared with quick comebacks and sharper gameplay this time around.
Right off the bat, Dirkstys was talkative and confident, but soon found himself in hot water with the hosts. Simona stepped into the shoes of a strict referee and gave Dominykas several warnings about stalling, saying “Your mouth and your finger can work at the same time!”
Under the new rules, players had just 30 seconds until they’d be hit with a €100 penalty. Dirkstys claimed that his game was lagging, but curiously, the “lag” seemed to disappear as soon as the warnings piled up… He also earned a penalty by making a bet of €0,90, though the minimum allowed bet on slot games was €1.
Still, the Lithuanian fighter was as playful as ever during the rematch and delivered his usual blunt trash talk — along with some surprise singing and rapping. Despite the loss, Dominykas wasn’t out of the game. He brushed it off and celebrated Francis’ victory along with him, fully ready to go in for Round 3.
Rozentāls is still recovering from his elbow injury, but has announced he’ll be able to resume boxing practice in December. Since we’re looking at a few more months to kill until any real fights between these two can be considered, a third battle doesn’t seem out of the question — especially with the current draw on the table.
For now, Francis gets to enjoy his sweet victory. Stay tuned for the next round in November — because this isn’t over yet!
