The May 8th “BAZARA 0 Fight Club II” event in Riga is halfway to a full card, and it just got an exciting 65 kilogram addition.
This fight show already features a high-profile main event between Ričards Bolotņiks and Serge Michel, a co-main pitting Danik Vesnenok against Roberts Skujiņš, a 4-ounce glove duel between Francis Rozentāls and Juris Zundovskis, and a “B0 Mixed Bout” clash of young protégés — Ričards Hauberts vs. Niks Bemberis.
Now, rounding out the lineup is a meeting under unique “B0 Fist Fight” rules: Aigars Meija vs. Yaroslav Kuzoma!
This bout will be conducted using 4-ounce gloves. Meija is an experienced kickboxer making his “BAZARA 0 Fight Club” debut, while Kuzoma is looking for redemption in the very cage where he fought to a draw last year.

Aigars Meija, 32, comes into the lineup with a wealth of combat sports experience — most notably being a Baltic Pankration Champion, K-1 Baltic Silver Medalist and Winner of Oslo Fight Night. He is currently a coach at “Taigar Fighting Gym” in Riga. But before he was a coach, Meija was a real force in Baltic kickboxing rings.
Rewind a decade: Aigars was competing (and winning) in K-1 rules tournaments across Latvia and beyond. Notably, he won the Riga Open K-1 2011 tournament. He also fought in the Baltic Kickboxing Championship, trading blows with the region’s best like Semjons Moroseks, a world champion.
Meija traveled to compete in Scandinavia; in 2015, he fought in the Norway Open, representing Latvia internationally. Aigars has transitioned all of his knowledge and skills into coaching in recent years. However, the fire never left him; after a hiatus from competition, Meija has kept in fighting shape.
Now he returns, this time in the “BAZARA 0 Fight Club” cage. Make no mistake: Meija packs great power in his hands and would love to earn a statement KO in front of the hometown crowd. This fight is also personal in a sense: showing that a coach can and will still fight.
On the other side of Meija stands Yaroslav Kuzoma, 26. Born in Ukraine, Kuzoma will be representing Lithuania. He was one of the breakout personalities of the “BAZARA 0 Fight Club” debut event in 2024, where he slugged it out with Ričards Hauberts in a fight that ended in a draw.
With 33 amateur fights behind him, Yaroslav made his pro boxing debut in March 2024 and has had three bouts to date, compiling a record of 1–2. In his debut, Kuzoma was matched with Joosep Palm, an Estonian national boxing champion, who pushed him to a decision. He secured his first pro victory in September of 2024.

Having already felt the atmosphere of “BAZARA 0 Fight Club”, Yaroslav should be determined not to leave this time without a win. A victory over a veteran like Meija could raise his stock dramatically, but both men have something to prove — to themselves and to each other.
Let the best man win. See you in the cage at “BAZARA 0 Fight Club II” on May 8th!
