“KSPROFL” Champ Joins “BAZARA 0 Fight Club II”: Dans Bukovskis vs. Vladyslav Hud

Another exciting matchup has been confirmed for “BAZARA 0 Fight Club II” on May 8th: a 65 kilogram “B0 Mixed Fight” between rising Latvian prospect and “KSPROFL” champion Dans Bukovskis and Vladyslav Hud. Both men are comparatively fresh in their careers, but each carries lofty ambitions and a record of success in regional competitions.

Dans Bukovskis, 21, is considered one of Latvia’s most promising MMA upstarts. Dans trains at “MMA Jūrmala” under coach Edgars Lipskijs.

He has already made waves in the amateur circuit: Bukovskis sports an amateur record of 60 and a pro record of 1–2. He lost his pro debut fight to Ola Jacobsson via triangle choke at “AFN 7”, claimed his first pro victory in “Hamara MMA Vol. 6” against Komar Dara, and saw another loss — a TKO by Yasir Uyar at “MMA Raju 17”. Dans describes himself to us as “decent on the ground and in striking”, but claims his strongest skill is his mentality.

Perhaps most notably to the local crowd, he has been a recurrent character with the “KSPROFL” organization. Dans showed the crowd a brilliant first-round TKO on his “KSPROFL” debut, which was also the first in an installation of now five fight shows.

Bukovskis soon returned to face Daniels Lapiņš in a “KSPROFL 2” title fight where he claimed the belt.

And again, after going pro, Dans returned to “KSPROFL 3” facing Niks Bemberis — a fellow “BAZARA 0 Fight Club II” participant, who will be up against Ričards Hauberts this time — to serve a first-round TKO only ten seconds into the fight.

Facing Bukovskis is Vlayslav Hud, 25, from Ukraine, and enters the competition as a bit of an unknown to local fans. Since going pro as a boxer, Vladyslav Hud holds a record of 0–5. Out of the five, three of his professional losses come via the “Top Boxing Generation” promotion.

Whether it’s been boxing as a whole, unfortunate matchmaking or missing edges on the pro level, he leverages it greatly by having seen over 300 amateur MMA fights (and counting), and is a two-time world champion according to WCFF, a Champion of Ukraine in Combat Sambo and Thai boxing. In preparation for “BAZARA 0 Fight Club II”, Hud is training at “Gracie Barra Brasa”.
