“BAZARA 0 Fight Club IV” is back from the holidays with a new fight announcement for their September 12th card at Xiaomi Arena: Marat Jankovskij vs. Nikita “El Futuro” Bricis!
These two are young Latvian men whose careers have moved far beyond local. Marat Jankovskij is only 19 years old, but has already built a huge amateur background and moved to Thailand—alone!—to chase a professional fighting career. Nikita Bricis, 22, grew from Latvia into the Spanish and Catalan fight scene, collecting titles across his amateur career before building his own training base on the Barcelona coastline.

Marat Jankovskij began training at the age of six in Taekwondo, later competed in Kudo and Judo, and then transitioned into Muay Thai at the age of 11. His coaching and training background includes Timur Mingaliev, Ilia Zhilinskiy, Vitaliy Dunets and time at the Venum Training Camp in Thailand. At 18, Jankovskij relocated alone to Thailand to pursue a full-time professional fighting career.
However, even before this professional transition, Jankovskij’s amateur career had already seen 161 fights and multiple medals at European and World Championship level. His major achievements include becoming a WAKO K-1 World Champion, WAKO K-1 European Champion, IFMA Muay Thai European Champion and two-time silver medalist at the IFMA Muay Thai World Championships.
“Muay Thai Riga” has listed Jankovskij as the 2024 WAKO World Kickboxing Championship winner and notes that he was awarded as the best fighter in the ring disciplines. Then comes another 2024 WAKO Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup win, a 2024 KOK professional tournament victory, a 2024 Latvian WAKO K-1 title, 2023 WAKO and IFMA achievements, and earlier success in Baltic, Kudo and Muay Thai competition. Jankovskij is also the creator of a combat sports YouTube channel with nearly 200,000 followers.
Nikita “El Futuro” Bricis is a fantastic match for Jankovskij; they’re perfectly leveled in their ambition.
Bricis began training in combat sports at the age of six under Ruslans Pojonisevs in Latvia, then moved to Spain at the age of 12 and continued his development in Barcelona under coach Jose Manuel Garcia. Bricis moved into the senior stage after winning the WKL Spain title and representing Latvia at the WAKO Junior Europeans.
Bricis’ amateur career is listed at approximately 100 fights, and his achievements are extensive: three-time World Champion, two-time European Champion, six-time Spanish Champion, eight-time Latvian Champion and three-time Baltic Champion. In professional ranks, he is the Catalonia Champion! Bricis’ training camps have included work in Bulgaria under legendary champions Ernesto Hoost, Semmy Schilt, Andy Souwer and Albert Kraus.
Beyond his own competition career, Bricis is the founder and owner of Futuro Performance Club, a combat sports and performance training facility on the Barcelona coastline. Through the gym, he works to develop athletes, promote martial arts and inspire the next generation of fighters.
